the golden age mags are really hard to find.. would it not be great if someone put together a collection of golden age mags, on cd rom for instance.

unfortunatly this does not exist but a reexamine.org has a place to upload useful literature scans, if everyone uploaded the particular isssues they have of the golden age we could eventually have a complete set.

Blood Doctrine - JW please answer

why are jws so against blood transfustions, do they not see that this is exactly the oppositie of what jesus taught.

jesus taught that healing was allowed on the sabath, even though if violated the rule of not working on the sabath, he was teaching that in the event of an emergency life is more important than the law.

how would a jw feel if a loved one died and then 2 months later the wt said new light told them that transfusions are ok. (do not say this will not happen, becasue they originally said vaccinations were a direct violation of the everlasting covenant with god and must be avoided, now they say vaccines are good.

does anyone know of any scans of the golden age lke on cd rom, for instance, for isssues after 1924, if so where can this be obtained, if not why dont people get together and submit scans of the issues that they do have so that a complete set could be compilled eventually.. it would be great to have such a set.

i was researching the topic of 144,000, does anyone have any scans from the 1935 convension when rutherford made the big change about the great crowd.

or any scans from watctower articles around that time that discuss this issue and what the new rules were to be.. also, does anyone know who rutherford said would live on paradise earth before 1935, because in the millions now living book written in 1925 he had talked about abraham and others living in beth sarim, additionally he did say in the millions book at that time that many people would be able to live on earth forever, who was he referring to if all were supposed to go to heaven..

it is all over the net that in 1935 rutherford got a flash of light stating that his followers would start to have an earthly hope.

the great multitude that is.

and that prior to that there were some classes of earthly salvation but it did not appear to be his followers that would be involved in that.

Great Multitude and Heaven (scans needed)

today in the wt literature, it is very clear that most people will stay on earth and the the 144k will go to heaven, but in review of the older literature it is very difficult to understand exactly what they believed.

they had 4 classes the 144k who would go to heaven, a great company who would also be a heavenly class, but they also had two earthly classes.

who were part of these earthly classes?

paradise earth vs heaven

i was wondering on many web sites the statement that the jws did not believe in paradise earth until 1935 is found.

becasue apperently some new light came to rutherford in that year and it was announced at the washington dc convention at that time.

so why then did rutherford in the 1920s write the book that millions now living will never die and state that the old testament saints (abraham and isacc, ect) would not have and heavenly hopes and would once again live on earth.

on mulpiple web sites about jw quotes the reference is indicated as "ibid", what is the ibid i have never heard or found any jw book with this title.

it appears that many of the more improtant quotes are referenced to this.

all help would be appreciated thanks.
